How are you two doing? I am fine with the exception of passing kidney stones this week. I passed one the other day, no pain, no blood, just a stone popping out.
Today at Mom's I passed a very small one. No pain but blood in the urine. This tells me I have more coming. Oh, Joy!
Mom was happy to see me today. Her informants told her that I died in a car crash. They also told her that Craig was shot in the leg six times. Later after Barb left, she asked to call her sister, Marcy. Teresa got the phone and I called Marcy. They talked for a while. Then Mom was telling me stories of our brother, Craig, as a baby was so crabby and cried all the time except when they were home. She said she was driving to Chicago with Marc and Wally with baby Craig and he was crying and crying. Finally Mom told Wally to turn around and return to Milwaukee. It seems Craig was very constipated as a baby. I'll have to check with Marcy for accuacy.
As you might have noticed, Mom's drive way is a mess. It should be sealed every two years and probably hasn't been done in four. A company left a bid of $165 to do the driveway.
Stacia paid over $200 on her driveway last year. I called the guy and he is coming out tomorrow at 11AM.
I was going to go to Bingo with Wilma tomorrow but she isnt' feeling good and with my kidney stone problem, it's better to go to Bingo next week. Now I can be available to be sure the guy does a good job.
Stacia said she was talking to Teresa and she was saying how much she loves her job living in such a nice house and being with such a good family, but is afraid her job will end soon. She has "willed" the tomato plants to Stacia. I've gotten the drift that Teresa thinks we are out of money. Several times she has bought food or over the counter medicines for Mom out of her own pocket.
I just took my first withdrawl from that loan account we opened this week so we have a long way to go just on that money. I'll have to talk to Teresa and assure her she has a job with Mom for a long time yet.
Mom, Barb and I were in Mom's bedroom and Mom wanted to call Teresa and of course couldn't remember her name. She called out, "Bertha, Bertha!" Barb and I started laughing and laughing. Mom was laughing back and said you don't have to call the right name everytime. I said, "Well, I'll call you Josephine!" Mom replied that she likes that name!
You know she's goofy now.
You may have noticed that I am sending this to a blog. I've been told to write down the funny/goofy thing Mom says, so here it is.
Mom came up with the story that Craig announced that he is no longer married to Barb but now married to Mom. She didn't know what to say or do. She wondered what to do when he wanted to kiss her. The story changed that he instead had "another woman." I told her no. By the time Craig and Barb were on vacation, he had dumped the first woman and and another one. I told Mom that Craig was with Barb on vacation. She said "He better be!" The story morphed now that Craig JR is having the affair.
